Description :

 

Opera Lulu, written by A.Berg, remained unfinished – its 3rd act was not completed by the composer. A fragment from it was first performed on June 2, 1937 at the Zurich Opera House. The opera was completed by the contemporary Austrian composer F. Cerchoi, who completed the third act, and its full version premiered at the Paris Opera on February 24, 1979, directed by Pierre Boulez (with Teresa Stratas in the title role). The duration of Lulu is about 3 hours.
